Sigma7, under the leadership of its Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel, embarked on an ambitious initiative to integrate newly acquired companies and transition to a unified accounting software platform. During a critical period of growth and transformation, ERTHE supported several functional accounting and finance areas until Sigma7 could build an internal finance team.

Solution

ERTHE played an integral role in supporting Sigma7’s Executive team throughout this complex process. Targeted financial management services were delivered, including revenue recognition support and process improvement for Sigma7’s largest subsidiary, accounts receivable process changes, reporting support, and financial close activities. As part of the integration of the various companies, ERTHE supported the migration of revenue recognition from cash basis to accrual basis to comply with new governance requirements. ERTHE’s support of the new finance and accounting team enabled Sigma7 to shorten their close cycle from two months to two weeks.
