As the portfolio approached its 10th year, this collaboration aimed to position the portfolio for success and meet the evolving needs of Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas.
Solution
In 2020, ERTHE worked closely with Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas to thoroughly analyze the existing energy efficiency portfolio operations and structure. Beyond restructuring the portfolio, ERTHE crafted a strategic plan aimed at helping Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas clearly define and achieve their immediate and long-term objectives.
ERTHE developed a comprehensive change management and transition plan to guide Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas through the significant transitions they would undertake, ensuring the new portfolio structure and strategic initiatives were seamlessly integrated into their operations.
In 2021, ERTHE continued to support Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas by executing initiatives from the strategic plan and piloting key approaches.
ERTHE successfully completed the strategic planning process and implemented all key strategic initiatives, marking significant progress in the portfolio’s evolution.
